The Benefits of Pool Fencing for Kiddie Pools

Are you putting a kiddie pool in your backyard?

Kiddie pools are never 100% safe. You will have to design a pool safety system to protect children and keep them out of harms way when the pool is unsupervised.

For a child to drown, the body doesn’t have to be fully submerged. Every year children drown in kiddie pools.

A pool fence is a great safety measure you can add to your pool design.

The pool fence should feature a gate that closes and locks. If you feel you may forget to lock the fence, Hercules Fence can always design a self latching gate for the pool fence.

It is important to lock  the fence to not only protect your children but all the neighborhood kids.

Every year there are reports of neighbors sneaking into pools. Although your neighbors my intrude your property, you could be liable for any injury or death that  occurs.

With a fence, such as an anti- climb fence, you can prevent these incidents from occurring.

You should also take the following safety precautions:

1. Don’t leave toys in the pool. Children spotting their favorite toy in a pool may jump in or try to walk in a pool. Keep toys far away from the kiddie pool unless it is time to play at the pool. When pool time is over, make sure every toy is collected and put in storage.

2.  Have a slip free area created for the pool to prevent children from slipping and falling into the pool.  Our partner No Fault can make you the perfect  anti-slip  surface. We carry all kings of No Fault products.

Vinyl fencing, wrought iron, a privacy fence and chain link fence are all high quality pool fences.
