Hercules Fence was honored to donate temporary fencing and a wood dumpster to Goochland Cares.

Hercules Fence was proud to team with Hourigan Construction to support Goochland Cares with the construction of their new facility. Our team offered a temporary fence and a small wood dumpster as donations. This facility will have a huge impact on Goochland Families in need and houses medical and dental offices, a food pantry, counseling for families in need, and also a shelter for abused women.

About Goochland Cares

Goochland Fellowship and Family Services was originally founded in 1952 by a small group of women who were committed to providing assistance to individuals and families that were in need but were not eligible for state or federal help. Even though the name has changed to Goochland Cares, the same mission started in 1952 continues today. They provide services and resources for individuals in immediate need of food, housing, health, safety and other basic needs.

Hercules Fence Donation

In 2016, a plan was developed to construct a new facility that would house all programs under one roof. In January 2018, construction was completed on the facility, and now services such as medical and dental offices, a food pantry, a clothes store, counseling for families in need, and a shelter for abused women can all be found at one location. Hercules Fence was honored to donate temporary fencing and a wood dumpster to Goochland Cares. To learn more about Goochland Cares please visit their website at http://goochlandcares.org.

Our team received a great surprise when we learned that the board approved and included Hercules Fence on their wall of donors, and were very honored with the gesture. Our Hercules Fence team is proud of the work they’ve completed, as their help will touch and change many lives in my community.
